In 2017, the National Agricultural Technology Promotion Center organized 28 counties in 14 major rice-producing provinces and regions to carry out 421 application tests. The results showed that 421 can effectively kill the main pests of rice, such as the Chilo suppressalis, the rice leaf roller, the rice planthopper, and has the effect of increasing rice production, which has no difference compared with chemical pesticides.

 

421 is a microbial fungal insecticide, which is produced by solid fermentation of rice and salad oil.

Its effective ingredient is the conidia of Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421. After contact with the insect body, the conidia invades the body through penetrating the body wall of the insect, and rapidly grows and propagates in the insect body, secreting toxins to make the insect sick, depleting its nutrition and killing the insect.

Compared with traditional chemical pesticides and most biological pesticides on the market, 421 has six characteristics:

Broad spectrum: applicable to rice, tea, tobacco, vegetables and other major pests;  

High efficiency: the strain has higher activity and better stability;

Wisdom: only kill pests, not beneficial insects;

Environmental protection: It comes from nature and has no added chemical substances. Its toxicity is equivalent to that of mineral water;

Persistent: Repeated impregnation, the effect lasts more than half a month;

Safety: Pests have no drug resistance, and there is no safe interval for use.
