The National Innovation Alliance for Standardization and Quality Assessment of Traditional Chinese Medicines and the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Bio-pesticides and Biological Control Industry jointly formulated the Measures for the Verification of Green Pesticide Control Products of Traditional Chinese Medicines to boost the production of high-quality brand medicinal materials in China, and on October 16, 2021, The 2022 Catalogue of Green Prevention and Control Products for Pests of Traditional Chinese Medicine was officially released at the "Ninth Joint Construction and Sharing Exchange Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine Base" held in Nanning, Guangxi.

The verification expert committee, chaired by Dr. Liu Sai of the Institute of Medicinal Plants of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and composed by Professor Wang Mo, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Plant Protection Special Committee of the National Alliance for Standardization and Quality Assessment of Traditional Chinese Medicine and President of the Hubei Jingchu Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, strictly followed the Verification Measures for the Green Prevention and Control Products of Pests of Traditional Chinese Medicine, through online roadshows one by one, from product safety In terms of effectiveness and compliance, we seriously questioned 54 products of 15 enterprises that were shortlisted in the preliminary examination.

Finally, after more than four hours of roadshow inquiry, the approval expert committee discussed the products of Chongqing Julixin Bioengineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Julixin Company) in the 2022 Catalogue of Chinese Medicinal Herbs and Pests Green Prevention and Control Products.

The catalogue is jointly formulated and released by the National Innovation Alliance for Standardization and Quality Assessment of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Bio-pesticides and Biological Control Industry. It plays an extremely important role in ensuring the production of high-quality brand medicinal materials (such as "three non-essential and one complete" brand varieties) for biopesticides and green prevention and control products in China, and has a profound impact on the high-quality development of China's traditional Chinese medicine industry.

The principle is that the conidia of Metarhizium anisopliae adhere to the surface of the pest through contact, invade the pest's skin with infection nails after germination, colonize and grow in the body, secrete toxins, and cause the death of the pest. Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421 granules can effectively control the damage of underground pests such as grubs, golden needles, ground tigers, mole crickets, and reduce the occurrence of root rot to a certain extent. The oil suspension of Metarhizium anisopliae CQMa421 also has a good control effect on the aboveground pests of traditional Chinese medicine, such as noctuid, daphne, aphid and mites.
