In this paper, the effects of mixed use of Metarhizium anisopliae 421 and reduced chemical pesticides on the control effect and yield of Spodoptera glutinosa on summer sown corn grassland were explored, providing scientific basis for the high-quality and efficient control of Spodoptera glutinosa in the corn industry. From 2019 to 2020, through the investigation and research on the occurrence and harm of Spodoptera exigua in Pu'er City, and the field drug comparative efficacy test of a variety of insecticidal fungal pesticides and chemical pesticides against Spodoptera exigua was conducted. In the test, there were generally high safety of insecticidal fungal pesticides, which were not easy to produce resistance, but lack of quick-acting, while chemical pesticides had good quick-acting, and long-term use produced resistance.
